Recycled EPR, rPET or recycled polyester is a material obtained by recycling waste materials. It comes mostly from the recycling of PET bottles and, to a lesser extent, from industrial polyester or clothing waste. Given the tonnes and tonnes of PET waste that exist today, recycling this plastic is vital for the planet. rPET is used both for the manufacture of packaging and for the creation of clothing. After a recycling process - which does not involve oil extraction - yarns are produced from which recycled polyester is made and which are then used to weave environmentally friendly garments.
The large amount of plastic used by mankind in the last decade has far exceeded the limit whereby it can be considered a simple mouldable material but has become a real problem for the environment due to its inability to degrade naturally over time and become extinct without causing irreparable damage to the environment.
The decision to produce a line of 'recycled PET' garment covers is not only an aesthetic choice, but also one of total respect for nature and the environment in which we live. Recycled PET fabrics make it possible to produce products whose aesthetic appeal is excellent and the level of customisation is highly communicative. All the accessories used to produce this type of garment cover are carefully chosen to maximise the usability and durability of the product.
